Mel & Rita Berdelis, Downey’s original “24 Hour Agents” and founders of 24 Hour Real Estate, are celebrating 25 years in business. Starting their company with just them and two other agents, their brokerage has grown to where it is today, one of Downey’s top offices with approximately 60 agents and still growing. Their son, Michael Berdelis, joined the office in 1999 as a broker associate and soon became a top producing agent. Their daughter, Jami Berdelis Gomez, broker associate with the office since 2004 and an attorney, brings a blend of leadership and experience to the office. This milestone provides us an opportunity to both reflect on our past and to look forward to our future. As we celebrate, we say “Thank You” to all of our dedicated clients and customers, our wonderful agents and staff, both past and present. Together the Berdelis family celebrates their silver anniversary, looks forward to the office serving the community for many years to come, and truly thanks the city of Downey for being a part of the office’s success for a quarter century.
